This devotional has been two years in the making.

I began writing it nearly a year before my life changed in a way I never could have imagined. At the time, I didn’t know I would one day walk through the devastating loss of my daughter in the second trimester. I didn’t know the words I was writing would become words I would eventually need for myself.

Somewhere in the depths of my own sorrow, the purpose behind this devotional became clearer.

What began as a desire to encourage women in their walk with God became something much more personal—an invitation to seek Him when life is beautiful, when life is ordinary, and especially when life doesn’t make sense.

I didn’t write these pages because I had all the answers. I wrote them because I have learned, again and again, where to go when I don’t.
